Electronics Technician
**Job Title: Electronics Technician** **Job Description** The Electronics Technician will play a crucial role in electronic prototype assembly and repair. This position involves debugging logic and power supply circuits, conducting product testing, and generating test reports. The technician will also repair and troubleshoot defective circuit board assemblies to the component level and occasionally assist with light production assembly work. Maintaining the organization of the electronics lab is also an essential part of the role. **Responsibilities** + Assemble and repair electronic prototypes. + Debug logic and power supply circuits. + Conduct product testing and generate test reports. + Repair and troubleshoot defective circuit board assemblies to the component level. + Perform occasional light production assembly work. + Maintain organization within the electronics lab. **Essential Skills** + Proficient in electronics and troubleshooting. + Ability to read and understand electronic schematics. + Skillful in soldering, including small discrete (chip) and fine pitch (IC) SMT components. + Familiarity with microprocessor-based systems. + Proficient with electronic testing equipment, including oscilloscopes. + Experience in circuit board repair. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Familiarity with schematic editing software. + Proficiency in Word and Excel. + Strong soft skills, including punctuality and a solid work ethic. + Experience with PWM motor controls and switching power supplies is a plus. + Preferred Associate’s degree in electronics or equivalent PCBA electronics experience. **Why Work Here** Join a dynamic and innovative team that values precision and attention to detail. There are 17 total employees on the floor. Employees receive one 30-minute break for lunch and two 10-minute breaks throughout the day. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chanhassen, Minnesota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
