**Job Title: Electronics Assembler**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Electronics Assembler to join our dynamic team. The role involves assembling electronic components and systems, ensuring quality and precision in every task. You will work with a variety of tools and equipment, interpreting technical documents to meet production specifications.
**Responsibilities**
+ Read, interpret, and work from drawings, blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams with limited supervision.
+ Select and assemble components such as transistors, resistors, capacitors, and integrated circuits.
+ Assemble electronic and mechanical products, systems, or support structures using small hand tools and soldering equipment.
+ Clean parts using solutions, air hoses, and cloths.
+ Perform assembly operations under a microscope or other magnifying devices.
+ Position and align parts in specified relationships using jigs, fixtures, or other holding devices.
+ Use equipment such as power supplies, multimeters, leak detection/vacuum systems, and soldering equipment.
+ Measure parts to determine tolerances using precision instruments like micrometers and calipers.
+ Connect component lead wires and route wires between components, connectors, and contact points.
+ Assemble and attach hardware to assemblies, adjusting or trimming materials to achieve desired specifications.
+ Perform intermediate assembly tasks such as potting, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, stamping, and etching parts.
+ Adjust, repair, or replace electronic component parts to correct defects and ensure conformance to specifications.
+ Conduct go/no-go testing and inspections to ensure quality standards.
+ Create documentation for process improvements.
+ Collaborate with supervisors or engineers to plan work activities or resolve production issues.
+ Inspect, test, and adjust completed units to meet specifications and customer requirements.
+ Produce parts efficiently with minimal waste and rework.
**Essential Skills**
+ 1 or more years of electronic PCB assembly experience.
+ 1 or more years of soldering or wire harnessing experience.
+ 1 or more years of J Standard electronic assembly using a microscope.
+ Proficiency in electronic assembly, soldering, and J Standard.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 1 to 2 years of surface mount and through-hole soldering experience.
+ 1 to 2 years of microscopic assembly experience.
+ Experience with quality standards and ESD-safe procedures.
+ Experience using a soldering iron and handling small quantities of assembly supplies and chemicals.
+ Experience assembling SMT and through-hole electronic components.
+ Strong communication skills and ability to understand verbal and written instructions.
+ Experience in soldering under a microscope and wire harnessing is a plus.

**Work Environment**
You will work in a state-of-the-art facility with a clean, climate-controlled environment alongside approximately 100 colleagues. The work involves close collaboration with a small team, focusing on detailed tasks using microscopes and precision tools. The organizational structure supports close interaction with departments such as Warehouse, Assembly, Engineering, Production, and Fabrication.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sunbury, Ohio.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $23.00/hr.
