Electronic Meeting Technographer / Helpdesk II Support

SUMMARY

Provide on-site technical support to the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense (USAMRICD) employees regarding technical aspects of assigned products to include networks and servers.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide support for video, photography and teleconferencing activities through Defense Health Agency (DHA) scheduling system, scheduling conference rooms through the Visual Information Ordering Site (VIOS), photography and videography of Institute events and projects. Install computer hardware and software to ensure users are fully functional and operational without errors and preserving user's data to be transferred to new PCs. Service requests may require resolution across multiple operating systems such as Windows, Linux, UNIX, and Mac. Investigate and resolve Remedy helpdesk tickets encompassing installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and instructing users in personal and network computers, as well as peripherals, such as printers, scanners, smart card readers, etc. Provide PC software and hardware troubleshooting. Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair unclassified and classified systems, network issues, iPhone and other devices. Perform password resets. Identify the responsible group for problem resolution and escalation when necessary. Escalate complex problems to senior level contract support team members. Maintain regular and punctual attendance. Perform other duties as assigned.
