Job Description

As an SMT Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining SMT equipment, including Juki Pick & Place machines, Reflow Ovens, Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) systems, and Wash Machines. You will set up and teardown machines, load feeders with electronic components, verify components, and follow production documentation. You will make minor machine adjustments, clear machine jams, and perform visual inspections of assembled boards for quality. Additionally, you will complete production records and batch logs accurately while adhering to all safety procedures and protocols.

Responsibilities

Operate SMT equipment including Juki Pick & Place machines, Reflow Ovens, AOI systems, and Wash Machines.Set up and teardown SMT machines according to detailed work instructions.Load feeders with electronic components according to setup sheets.Verify components and follow production documentation.Make minor machine adjustments and clear machine jams as needed.Position PCBs on machine fixtures and monitor machine operation.Perform visual inspection of assembled boards for quality issues.Complete production records and batch logs accurately.Follow all safety procedures and protocols.

Essential Skills

Experience in assembly, production line, manufacturing, or production.Mechanically inclined.Ability to stand during the majority of the shift.Experience with electronic assembly and hand tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

No prior experience required – comprehensive training provided.High school diploma or GED preferred.Strong vision and hand-eye coordination.Ability to follow detailed written instructions.Basic computer skills.Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks.Attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to work well in a team environment.Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
