Our client, operates in the power management industry is seeking a Electronic Lab Technician IV to join their team. **Job Title:** Electronic Lab Technician IV **Location:** Raleigh, NC **Pay Range: $27 - $31** Key Responsibilities: + Lead the design and development of complex electronic systems and components, providing technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle. + Conduct advanced research and experimentation to explore emerging technologies and develop innovative engineering solutions. + Design and implement sophisticated test procedures to evaluate the performance, reliability, and functionality of electronic devices. + Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex electronic circuits and systems, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions. + Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior lab technicians, fostering their professional growth. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, scientists, and product managers, to define project requirements and deliverables. + Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in electronic design and testing, applying knowledge to improve processes and methodologies. Required Qualifications: + 10+ years of experience in a laboratory or technical environment, focusing on electronic design and testing. + Extensive expertise in electronic design tools and software, including schematic capture, PCB layout, and simulation software. + In-depth knowledge of electronic principles, circuits, and components, with a strong emphasis on analog and digital circuits. + Proficiency in electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers. + Strong troubleshooting skills in diagnosing complex electronic systems and circuits. + Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with experience mentoring junior technicians and collaborating in team environments. Preferred Skills: + Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. + Master’s degree or advanced certification in Electronics Engineering or related discipline. + Extensive experience with specialized electronic testing techniques (e.g., RF testing, EMC testing, environmental testing). + In-depth knowledge of industry standards and regulations, such as IPC standards and FCC regulations. + Experience with hardware description languages (e.g., Verilog, VHDL) for FPGA design. + Proven track record of successful project management and leadership in electronic design and testing projects.
