Electronic Assembly Technician
**Electronic Assembly Technician** **Pay:** $27 to $38 per hour (Depending on Experience) **Schedule:** Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM **Overview:** We’re hiring a experienced Electronic Assembly Technicians to support engineering teams by assembling and reworking consumer wearable electronic devices. This role is approximately 85% assembly and 15% rework, with a focus on prototypes and proof-of-concept builds. **Key Responsibilities:** + Assemble and rework prototypes using mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, soldering, and adhesives. + Maintain and upgrade devices using components like sensors, motors, cameras, pneumatics, and textiles. + Troubleshoot design issues and collaborate with engineers to resolve them. + Perform component-level debugging and electromechanical testing. + Document test results and provide detailed feedback to improve product design. + Keep work areas clean and organized. **Required Skills:** + 2+ years of recent experience in electronic assembly. + Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings. + Skilled with hand tools, power tools, and ideally shop tools (lathe, mill, drill press). + Familiarity with multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and soldering irons (IPC certification is a plus). + Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on prototyping skills. + Basic math and computer skills (Word, Excel, web navigation). **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience in a prototype environment. + IPC soldering certification. + Experience using microscopes for adhesive application. + Familiarity with GD&T. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $38.00/hr.
