Job Description:
This person will contribute to the company’s success by performing a wide variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly operations on mechanical/electrical assemblies, sub-assemblies, or end products.
Responsibilities:
Use hand tools such as long-nose pliers, screwdrivers, and wrenches to build mechanical and electrical assemblies.Perform skilled hand soldering on electronic assemblies according to high-reliability engineering standards.Read and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and Bills of Material (BOM).Adjust, fit, or align parts to ensure compliance with strict engineering assembly processes and quality standards.Identify production problems and contribute to the continuous improvement process.Maintain a neat and clean work area and strictly adhere to all safety and quality system procedures.Education: High School
Experience: 48 months
A minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.Physical:
Ability to stand and traverse the production floor for the duration of a shift and transport items weighing up to 30 lbs.Most positions require U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.Industry: Manufacturing
