Our client, a leader in electronics manufacturing, is seeking an Electronic Assembler/Solderer to join their team. As an Electronic Assembler/Solderer, you will be part of the production and engineering team supporting high-quality assembly processes. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent manual dexterity, and a commitment to quality which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Electronic Assembler/Solderer
**Location:** Poughkeepsie, NY
**Pay Range:** $24 per hour
**Shift-** Monday-Friday- 6:00am-2:30pm
**What's the Job?**
+ Assemble electronic components, sub-assemblies, and full systems using hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment.
+ Read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
+ Test and troubleshoot assemblies and circuits to ensure proper functionality and quality.
+ Handle electrostatic-sensitive devices using ESD-safe procedures.
+ Maintain accurate assembly records, part counts, and inspection logs.
**What's Needed?**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certificate or associate degree in electronics or a related field preferred.
+ 2+ years of experience in electronics assembly, electromechanical assembly, or related manufacturing role.
+ Proficient in basic electronic testing tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes).
+ Ability to interpret technical drawings and follow detailed work instructions.
+ Familiarity with ESD handling procedures and clean work practices.
