Electronic Assembler For Automation Equipment
**Job Title: Automation Controls Assembler** 6AM -2:30 PM or 8AM-4:30 PM $25 plus depending on experience Work for a high tech automation distributor of sensors, motion control, robotics, linear actuators, AC and DC variable speed drives, power transmission and torque devices, programmable logic controllers, SCADA solutions, operator interface panels, safety products, network and communications solutions, wireless solutions, connectivity, tension control, temperature control, panel components, machine vision, energy saving devices, and value add services. Responsibilities + Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products. + Utilize hand-held tools such as a screw and drill gun. + Perform soldering to join metal items by melting and flowing a filler metal into the joint. + Maintain inventory of products in workstations. + Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards. + Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified. + Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes. Essential Skills + 1-2 years of electrical assembly experience may be required. + Basic blueprint reading skills with the ability to follow directions. + Basic computer navigation and utilization skills. + Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly. + Problem-solving skills to think in such a way as to produce new concepts or ideas. + High attention to detail and self-motivation skills. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $34.00/hr.
