**Job Title: Electronic Assembler**
**Job Description**
We are seeking an experienced Electronic Assembler to join our team in performing electro-mechanical assembly tasks. The role involves assembling complex systems such as cable and wiring harnesses, chassis, and subsystems according to detailed work instructions and blueprints. The assembler will also conduct quality inspections, test subassemblies, and perform Acceptance Test Procedures using precise laboratory instruments and manufacturing tools.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assemble electro-mechanical assemblies, cable and wiring harnesses, chassis, and subsystems according to Assembly Work Instructions and Top Assembly Drawings.
+ Test subassemblies using laboratory instrumentation, test jigs, and fixtures according to test procedures.
+ Perform Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) as required.
+ Conduct quality inspections and testing on assemblies.
+ Assist with packaging as needed.
+ May perform rework from test failures following standard repair procedures.
+ At senior levels, may train new staff and evaluate their performance and finished work.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in mechanical assembly and soldering techniques.
+ Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and schematic diagrams.
+ Knowledge of hand tools, small power tools, torque wrenches, and common electronic lab instrumentation such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and digital voltmeters.
+ Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in aerospace manufacturing environments is beneficial.
+ Familiarity with AS9100 quality standards is advantageous.
+ On-the-job training provided.

**Work Environment**
The position is based in a climate-controlled aerospace manufacturing facility. Employees are expected to work during the 2nd shift from 4 PM to 2:30 AM, Monday through Friday. The role requires the use of various hand and power tools, along with laboratory instrumentation for testing and quality assurance.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Huntsville, Alabama.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
