**Job Title: Electronic Assembler**
**Job Description**
We are seeking an experienced Electronic Assembler to join our custom cable shop team. You will be responsible for completing cable assembly jobs from start to finish for various clients, including those in the defense industry. This role requires a candidate who is well-versed in cable assembly, wire harnesses, and cable testing.
**Responsibilities**
+ Complete full cable assembly jobs from start to finish.
+ Strip, cut, crimp, label, and solder wires to their connectors.
+ Read and follow schematics, drawings, and specifications.
+ Use hand and automated crimping tools.
+ Assist with various projects as needed, as directed by the line lead.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2+ years of experience in cable assembly and harness assembly.
+ Proficiency in ICP 620 cabling standards.
+ Ability to read and interpret schematics and specifications.
+ Experience in a job shop or custom shop environment.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with military standard cabling is a plus.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Work Environment**
Work in a small, collaborative shop environment alongside a team of seven people. The shop is partially air-conditioned and provides a comfortable setting for focused work. The company is family-owned, fostering a supportive and inclusive atmosphere.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elkridge, Maryland.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
