Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Electromechanical Technician to join our team, focusing on the assembly, integration, and testing of advanced tools. This hands-on R&D position is integral to the complete tool build-up from sections and subassemblies. Your role will involve connector and harness integration, executing functional tests with standard benchtop instruments, supporting thermal and oven testing, and structured troubleshooting. Clear documentation of builds and test results is essential to support our engineering teams.
Responsibilities
Assemble small electromechanical units according to work instructions, schematics, and BOMs.Integrate connectors and harnesses into systems.Execute functional tests using standard benchtop instruments including DMM, DC power supply, and oscilloscope.Conduct thermal and oven testing to ensure product reliability.Troubleshoot and document build and test results clearly.Collaborate with engineering teams to support development processes.Essential Skills
2+ years of experience as an Electromechanical Technician.Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.Experience with assembly of electromechanical units.Knowledge of preventive maintenance, hand tools, and schematics.Experience soldering large mechanical complex tools and downhole tools.Ability to perform research and develop tools, parts, and products.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in military maintenance, particularly avionics, radar, or electronic systems, is a plus.Proficiency with inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and pin gauges.Familiarity with electrical test equipment including DMM and hipot/continuity.Competence in defect identification related to solder joints, component orientation, and wiring/cable routing.Ability to work on fine motor tasks with small components for extended periods.Work Environment
The candidate will work in a dynamic environment, spending approximately 30% of the time in an office setting and 70% in a shop environment. This role offers hands-on experience with large mechanical tools, contributing to R&D efforts. Candidates will initially rotate through various teams before being assigned to a permanent team, fostering a strong pipeline for early career development.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
