Electromechanical Technician
**Electromechanical Technician – Aerospace / Drones & Gimbals** **Certification:** IPC-A-610 or IPC-A-620 (current or prior) **Location:** Hood River, OR _(Relocation required – relocation package available)_ **Compensation** + Salary: $80,000 annually + Hourly Equivalent: Approximately $38.46 per hour + Pay Range: Up to $40.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications **Job Overview** We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Technician to support the build, test, and integration of aerospace, drone, and gimbal systems. This role focuses on assembling and troubleshooting high‑reliability electromechanical products in compliance with IPC‑A‑610 and IPC‑A‑620 standards. Candidates should have certification‑level knowledge or be willing to obtain certification to perform production work effectively. **Key Responsibilities** + Assemble electromechanical systems and wire harnesses from start to finish + Build complex harnesses independently without supervision + Perform PCB assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and rework + Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and engineered electrical drawings + Solder and rework components in accordance with IPC standards + Support product assembly and testing for NPI, prototyping, and flight‑ready hardware + Work within a formal documentation system, reviewing and documenting workflows **Required Skills & Experience** + Strong knowledge of IPC‑A‑610 and IPC‑A‑620 standards + Hands‑on experience in Aerospace, Defense, UAV, or precision motion systems + Proven ability to build electromechanical systems and wire harness assemblies + Experience working with PCB boards, including testing and troubleshooting + Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints + Proficiency in soldering and component rework to IPC standards **Additional Qualifications** + Current or previous IPC‑A‑610 or IPC‑A‑620 certification + High School Diploma or equivalent + Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or 5S methodologies + Experience working in an ISO‑regulated environment **Why Join Us?** + $30,000 retention bonus paid over three years ($10,000 annually) + Relocation assistance available (negotiable) + Direct‑hire opportunity + Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits **Work Environment** This position operates within a production and engineering environment supporting Aerospace, UAV, and stabilized gimbal programs and is subject to ITAR regulations. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Dallas, TX. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
