Electromechanical Technician
Job Title: Electromechanical TechnicianJob Description We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Technician to join our innovative team. This role involves assembling control panels, wiring instruments and sensors, performing mechanical assembly of production equipment, and assembling hydraulic systems and piping. The technician will also build systems from process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), maintain detailed lab notes, and update drawings. Responsibilities + Assemble control panels and wire instruments and sensors. + Perform mechanical assembly of production equipment. + Assemble hydraulic systems and piping, primarily using stainless steel tubing and Swagelok connections. + Build systems from process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs). + Maintain detailed lab notes and update technical drawings. Essential Skills + Proficiency in mechanical assembly, wiring, and control panel troubleshooting. + Experience in assembling production equipment and experimental hardware. + Ability to build systems from process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs). + Experience in wiring instruments and sensors. + Capability to assemble control panels. + Preferred experience with small-gauge wiring. + Hydraulic system skills, including assembling hydraulic systems and piping. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Familiarity with piping and hydraulic systems. + Experience in a research and development environment is beneficial. Work Environment The work environment is a chemical setting where consultants are exposed to various chemicals, including those used in Department of Defense (DOD) explosives contracts. The technician team consists of three people within a company of 22 employees. Candidates should be comfortable working in this environment, which offers a dynamic opportunity for innovation in a rapidly growing startup that has recently expanded into a new facility. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Boulder, CO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
