Production Technicians will accurately and safely assemble electromechanical assemblies in accordance with drawings, written, or verbal instructions. This role involves inspecting and testing subassemblies, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
ResponsibilitiesRead and understand bill of material structure; escalate errors or discrepancies to appropriate personnel.Visually inspect components for flaws/damage and escalate issues to appropriate personnel.Assist with miscellaneous tasks such as packaging finished goods, material handling, and warehouse cleanup.Maintain company values and commitment to quality and safety.Participate in the 5S program to maintain a clean and safe work environment.Lift and carry 50 pounds as required.Communicate ideas and facts professionally to all stakeholders.Regularly perform repetitive tasks and sit or stand for long periods.Possess manual dexterity to assemble parts quickly and accurately.Upload component firmware according to written instructions.Adhere to the redline process to document any as-built changes.Maintain accurate accounting of project materials and report discrepancies.Rework and/or repair equipment and products as instructed.Participate in the development of work instructions, including writing simple work instructions, cutsheets, or assembly notes.Safely use advanced tooling such as power tools and CableEye.Assist in the development of tools/jigs to facilitate assembly processes.Operate and maintain test fixtures, devices, and test cables.Perform field service as needed.Navigate 3D CAD/e-drawings as an aid to assembly.Perform full system cold checks using a schematic.Obtain company-sponsored high-voltage electrical safety training.Possess proficiency in layout, routing, and termination of wires for UL 508A electrical panels.Build cables/wire harnesses conforming to IPC 620 standards.Assemble 24V safety circuits such as e-stops, light curtains, and sensors.Identify continuous improvement opportunities and take a leadership role in improvement activities.Perform advanced troubleshooting for electromechanical assemblies.Lead first article projects as assigned.Act as a leader for the production team, upholding company values, ethics, and commitments.Essential SkillsMechanical assembly expertise.Proficiency in wire harness creation and troubleshooting.Ability to read schematics and blueprints.Experience using hand and power tools.2+ years of experience in mechanical assembly or building.Ability to strip, crimp, and splice electrical components.Familiarity with torque specifications and sequence.Ability to route cables and secure wiring.Competence in labeling and verifying mechanical functionality.Proficiency in testing for electrical continuity.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to use standard assembly tools such as hex wrenches, screwdrivers, wire cutters, wire strippers, and torque tools.Capability to work with appropriate tooling/fixtures for assembly.Ability to verify mechanical functionality where appropriate.Use of voltmeter for electrical continuity tests.Why Work Here?Enjoy working in a great company with a lot of cool amenities, fostering a supportive and engaging work environment.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $31.00/hr.
