**Job Title: Electromechanical Technician** **Job Description**
Join our dynamic team to assemble testing equipment, working collaboratively to build structures over the course of a week. These assemblies consist of various sub-assemblies where you will perform electro-mechanical and mechanical assembly, including wiring panels and crimping or stripping. Confidence in your electrical skills and the ability to use hand tools effectively are essential.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assemble testing equipment with the team, focusing on various sub-assemblies.
+ Perform electro-mechanical and mechanical assembly of components.
+ Wire panels together and perform crimping and stripping tasks.
+ Utilize hand tools such as grinders and drills to complete assemblies.
+ Read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams accurately.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in wiring and crimping.
+ Ability to read work instructions, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
+ Proficiency with hand tools, including grinders and drills.
+ Strong electrical skills for assembly.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with sub-assembly.
+ Skills in larger scale assembly of capital equipment.

**Work Environment**
Work hours are from 8 AM to 4:30 PM within a team of about five individuals. The dress code requires steel-toed shoes and jeans, providing a practical and comfortable work setting.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Somerville, MA.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $26.25 - $29.00/hr.
