Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in industrial equipment, is seeking an Electromechanical Technician to join their team. As an Electromechanical Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Electromechanical Technician
**Location:** New Britain, CT
**Pay Range:** Starting at $35.11
**Shift:** 7am-3:30pm OR 5pm-1:30am (9% shift differential)
**What's the Job?**
+ Perform highly diversified mechanical duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment.
+ Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment to perform maintenance tasks.
+ Conduct emergency and scheduled repairs on production machines to ensure minimal downtime.
+ Read and interpret equipment manuals, work orders, diagrams, and engineering specifications to diagnose issues.
+ Perform preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and plant facilities to support continuous operations.
**What's Needed?**
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ 3 to 5 years of applied trades training and relevant experience.
+ Knowledge of Allen Bradley or other PLC platforms.
+ Experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and programming robots.
+ Ability to read complex drawings, specifications, and technical manuals.
