**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
Join our team as a Maintenance Technician, where you will be responsible for repairing, adjusting, and maintaining industrial production and processing machinery in a safe, clean, and efficient manner. This role involves basic troubleshooting and repairs under guidance and oversight.
**Responsibilities**
+ Support a safe work environment by adhering to safety policies and procedures.
+ Uphold a quality work environment by following appropriate policies and procedures.
+ Perform weekly, monthly, and yearly preventative maintenance duties on Operations machinery, equipment, and tooling as per preventive maintenance (PM) procedures.
+ Document required repairs and maintenance tasks.
+ Monitor gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure equipment is functioning properly.
+ Inspect equipment, products, materials, or packaging to identify errors or defects.
+ Repair, clean, lubricate, or adjust machinery to maintain optimal equipment performance.
+ Disassemble, repair, or replace malfunctioning or broken machinery or equipment components.
+ Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repair.
+ Examine parts for defects, such as excessive wear or breakage.
+ Clean work areas using basic cleaning materials.
+ Perform changeovers and setups on equipment as required.
+ Utilize root cause analysis to suggest and implement improvements as part of Continuous Improvement Teams.
+ Complete process checks on specified quality forms and records.
+ Ensure all assigned equipment safety guarding is in place and maintain a clean, neat, and organized machine area.
+ Monitor Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to meet or exceed set standards.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in maintenance repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
+ Knowledge of extrusion machines, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
+ Ability to disassemble and reassemble machinery, tooling, and equipment.
+ Proficiency in operating basic machine shop equipment.
+ Competence in using calipers, dial indicators, and micrometers accurately.
+ Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in a technical field preferred.
+ Minimum of one year of related experience or one year of technical training.
+ Training in maintenance/repair of mechanical equipment and machinery is a plus.
+ Training in industrial electrical repair and maintenance is a plus.
+ Preferred experience in metal fabrication and welding.
+ Experience with PLCs used to control manufacturing processes is preferred.

**Work Environment**
Work in a very clean, climate-controlled production facility. This role requires 20% clerical and planning tasks and 80% machine maintenance or assisting production employees. The manufacturing floor or maintenance area may have moderate to high noise levels, requiring hearing protection in marked areas. Eye and foot protection are also necessary in certain areas. Regular lifting of weights up to 30 pounds is expected, with occasional lifting up to 45 pounds. Expect exposure to moving mechanical parts, wet or humid conditions, fumes, airborne particles, toxic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock. The position involves regular physical activities such as climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling.

This is a Permanent position based out of New Holland, Pennsylvania.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
