Job Title: Electromechanical Assembler

Job Description

Responsibilities

Perform routine assembly operations of a repetitive nature on mechanical and/or electronic components and sub-assemblies.Work from samples, bills of material, prints, and work instructions, as well as verbal instructions.Use various hand and power tools to perform the work.Assemble devices (mechanical and/or electronic) to form complete units or subassemblies at appropriate locations, including programming transmitters and using laser technology.Build sub-components as needed using various tools and machines.Perform visual inspection and functional testing during assembly operation.Conduct calibration for devices as needed.Maintain accurate inventory and notify team lead of adjustments or scrap.

Essential Skills

Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.Ability to stand for the entirety of the shift.High attention to detail with a focus on quality.Experience using hand and power tools.Ability to read, write, and understand English.Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, and units of measurement.Basic CPU skills including Microsoft suite.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Assembly experience preferred.Experience in manufacturing preferred.Experience using torque equipment is nice to have.

Work Environment

The work environment is temperature-controlled and requires steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and gloves. The position is available for 1st Shift (6:45 AM to 3:30 PM) and 2nd Shift (3:30 PM to 1:30 AM), with the possibility of overtime and weekend work announced in advance. Employees are encouraged to contribute to process improvements and maintain open communication through collaborative practices. $17.25-18.25/hr.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenwood, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.25 - $19.25/hr.
