**Job Description**
The individual in this role will work at a bench to cut vinyl material and assemble guards and other sub-components. This involves measuring with a ruler, cutting with scissors or knives, and using a small heat press machine to bond the fabric. Mechanical assembly of hinges and brackets, using screwdrivers and Allen wrenches, is also required.
**Responsibilities**
+ Cut vinyl material and assemble guards.
+ Measure materials accurately using a ruler.
+ Cut materials with scissors or knives.
+ Use a small heat press machine to bond fabric.
+ Assemble mechanical components such as hinges and brackets using screwdrivers and Allen wrenches.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2-3+ years of mechanical assembly experience, preferably in a medical environment.
+ Proficiency in reading a ruler or tape measure.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Ability to lift up to 30lbs throughout the day.
+ Capability to stand for up to 8 hours per day.
+ Experience with hand tools and production processes.
+ General labor and packaging skills.

**Work Environment**
The current team is small, consisting of approximately 20 people, with the manufacturing team making up about 5 individuals. As a startup company, the work environment may appear cluttered or disorganized due to the transition to a new facility. The company values flexibility and allows for a straight 8-hour shift from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with a paid lunch break from 11:00 to 11:30. While there are no additional breaks, employees can take necessary short breaks for drinks or restroom use. Post-training, there may be flexibility in start and end times.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, Minnesota.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
