**Job Title: Electromechanical Assembler - HIRING NOW $28-35HR**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated Electromechanical Assembler to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis. This role requires you to support the assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of flight harnesses and avionics systems. The position demands adherence to industry standards such as IPC/WHMA-A-620 and NASA STD 8739.4, and a commitment to quality control and precision.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform soldering and assembly under a microscope.
+ Fabricate flight harnesses using essential tools and test equipment.
+ Conduct soldering, crimping, stripping, and assembly of spacecraft harnesses.
+ Carry out quality assurance inspections on completed harness builds.
+ Interpret wire harness schematics, assembly drawings, and technical documentation.
+ Apply quality control methodologies and identify components for harness builds.
+ Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
+ Perform job functions safely and professionally in a cleanroom environment.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2–4 years of experience in harness fabrication.
+ Familiarity with IPC/WHMA-A-620 or NASA STD 8739.4 standards.
+ Experience working under a microscope for the majority of the day.
+ Ability to read and interpret BOMs, assembly drawings, and work instructions.
+ Proficient with computers and general software tools.
+ Knowledge of IPC 620 & J-STD-001 (not 610).
+ 3+ years building wire harnesses.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with J-STD-001 certification is a plus.
+ Basic understanding of electronic components and manufacturing processes.
+ Skill in soldering cables, wires, soldering cups, and connectors.
+ Able to read blueprints and schematics on electronic devices.
+ Able to abide by clean room guidelines.
+ Diploma.
+ Able to lift 10-20lbs.

**Work Environment**
This role operates in a cleanroom setting with 80% of work performed under a microscope. The schedule is Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with potential overtime on Fridays. Adherence to clean room guidelines is essential, and the facility ensures a safe and organized environment.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
