Job Title: Electromechanical Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking an Electromechanical Assembler to join our team in constructing large transformers. This role involves wiring transformers, installing circuit breakers, contactors, sheet metal, and circuit boards. You should be adept at working with larger cables, specifically 2 AWG (American Wire Gauge).

1st shift: 6am to 2:30pm

$26/hr

ResponsibilitiesFollow work assignments, directions, instructions, and Work Order Schedule provided by the Production Lead.Familiarize yourself with wire gauges (AWG) and terminals, pins, lugs, and connectors typically used for wire harness fabrication.Review Assembly Instructions, Engineering Drawings, or Notes on the BOM.Use hand crimpers to create discrete wires and harnesses.Assemble electronics subassemblies to install harnesses.Maintain a safe and organized work area.Ensure efficiency requirements and quality standards are met consistently.Adhere to safety requirements and all safety policies.Determine job order requirements following production priorities.Essential SkillsExperience in assembly, particularly electromechanical assembly.Proficiency with hand tools and mechanical skills.Familiarity with blueprints, power tools, and electromechanical wiring.Knowledge of circuit breakers and crimping techniques.Additional Skills & QualificationsElectromechanical assembly background, including crimping and wiring.Experience with soldering is a plus.Ability to lift units weighing 50 - 60 lbs, similar in size to a small refrigerator.Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Costa Mesa, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.
