Job Title: Electromechanical Assembler - 1st Shift
Job Description

Join our team as an Electromechanical Assembler, where your skills in soldering, wiring, and assembly will directly contribute to our production needs. This full-time position operates on the first shift from 5:00 am to 1:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with additional hours as required, including weekends.

ResponsibilitiesPerform precise soldering, wiring, and crimping tasks.Read, interpret, and execute instructions and diagrams for equipment and product assembly.Construct and test wire harness connections efficiently.Utilize various hand tools and fixtures proficiently.Conduct quality spot checks to ensure adherence to standards.Report any product inconsistencies or equipment malfunctions promptly.Rework or repair assembled equipment and products following engineering specifications.Essential SkillsStrong soldering skills, particularly with relays, wires, and cables.Minimum of 3 years of electromechanical assembly experience.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wire schematics.Proficiency in wire harnessing, crimping, assembly, and soldering.Experience with crimping and stripping 22-24 AWG wires and inserting contacts.Soldering experience at an electronics level, preferably with J-STD-001 standards.Familiarity with IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious IPC certifications are highly desirable.Experience using specific production tools, such as crimping tools, soldering irons, and testing equipment.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics or assembly drawings.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a clean production facility equipped with the necessary tools and equipment to ensure efficient and quality assembly processes. The dress code includes wearing steel-toed boots for safety.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tustin, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
