Job Title: Electromechanical Assembler - 1st Shift

We are seeking experienced Electromechanical Assemblers to join our team at military and defense product manufacturer.

ResponsibilitiesPerform precise assembly of equipment and products by reading, interpreting, and executing instructions and diagrams.Conduct soldering, wiring, and crimping tasks with proficiency.Construct and test wire harness connections to ensure quality and functionality.Use various hand tools and fixtures effectively for assembly tasks.Conduct quality spot checks on products to ensure adherence to specified standards.Report product inconsistencies or equipment malfunctions promptly to supervisors.Rework or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specifications.Essential SkillsMinimum of 3 years of electromechanical assembly experience.Proficient in soldering, electronic assembly, and crimping.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wire schematics, and assembly drawings.Experience with crimping and stripping 22-24 AWG wires.Experience in soldering at an electronics level, preferably with J-STD-001 standards.Familiarity with IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards for electronic assemblies and wire harnesses.Proficiency in using crimping tools, soldering irons, and testing equipment.Additional Skills & QualificationsPossession of soldering or previous IPC certifications is ideal.Experience in constructing and testing wire harness connections is advantageous.Work Environment

Our work environment is a clean production facility. Employees are required to wear steel-toed boots for safety.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
