Job Description
The primary function of the Electro-Mechanical Technician is to perform mechanical assembly, installation, commissioning, testing, and wiring of components on various equipment designed and built with precise specifications. This role involves building, tapping, drilling in control panels, and wiring each panel onto piping systems, all based on schematics and blueprints. The position is project-based rather than production line-oriented, offering diverse tasks that vary week by week.
ResponsibilitiesAssemble complex machines using precision tools, constructing machinery from start to finish.Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to guide the assembly process accurately.Install and integrate mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components into complete machines.Commission, test, and troubleshoot machines to verify functionality and diagnose and correct issues for optimal performance.Essential SkillsProficiency in electrical, troubleshooting, mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and assembly techniques.Experience with electro-mechanical systems, hand tools, and machine building.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics accurately.Expertise in PLC troubleshooting and mechanical/electrical assembly.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.Experience in installing mechanical components, piping, plumbing, running conduit, and performing electrical troubleshooting.Exceptional work ethic, a 'can-do' attitude, and a team player mentality.Why Work Here?

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
