Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Electromechanical Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Perth Amboy. This is a direct hire opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and is passionate about keeping machinery running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipmentDiagnose and repair mechanical issues, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systemsRespond to emergency breakdowns and perform troubleshooting and repairsReplace or repair defective parts using hand tools and machineryTest repaired equipment to ensure proper functionalityInterpret equipment manuals and work orders to carry out maintenance tasksMaintain compliance with safety regulations and ensure a clean work areaDocument all maintenance and repair activitiesRecommend system improvements or modifications

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a maintenance mechanic or in a similar roleStrong knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical systemsSkilled in using various power and hand toolsAbility to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loadsExcellent problem-solving and organizational skillsDegree in engineering or manufacturing is a plusValid driver’s license preferred
