An Electro-Mechanical Assembler is responsible for building electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies from component parts. This role involves performing tasks such as surface-mount and through-hole soldering on printed circuit boards, trimming, clipping, crimping, and tinning wires and leads, and fabricating, testing, and troubleshooting electrical cables, harnesses, and electronic components for high reliability integration.
ResponsibilitiesComplete tasks to build electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies from component parts.Complete appropriate paperwork associated with assembly orders.Adhere to all company operating procedures and quality requirements.Perform surface-mount and through-hole soldering on printed circuit boards.Trim, clip, crimp, and tin wires and leads.Properly label finished products.Fabricate, test, and troubleshoot electrical cables, harnesses, and electronic components for high reliability integration.Build harnesses and cables.Assemble, fabricate, and inspect complex box builds.Integrate electrical and mechanical assemblies.Install, mount, fasten, align, and adjust parts, components, wiring, and harnesses to subassemblies and assemblies using hand and small power tools.Operate automatic and semi-automatic machines to position, solder, and clean prescribed components on printed circuit boards.Replace defective components and repair and overhaul older assemblies.Essential SkillsProficient in soldering, electronic assembly, and production, particularly with PCB mechanical assemblies.Ability to read and understand blueprints and mechanical diagrams.Experience with hand tools and electrical components.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of shipping, receiving, packing, and stockroom processes and procedures.Good verbal and written communication skills.Ability to organize and expedite materials.Ability to operate a forklift.Proficient in operating a computer with knowledge of Excel and Office.Two years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Work EnvironmentThe work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring attention to detail and precision. You will be using hand and small power tools, along with automatic and semi-automatic machines, to complete tasks. The role may involve standing for long periods and wearing appropriate safety gear as needed.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
