**Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Assembler** **Job Description** We are seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our hypertronics team. The role involves preparing wires and other components for various systems, including tasks such as soldering wires (generally gauge 4), stripping and crimping wires, and assembling small parts. You will periodically use a microscope throughout the day to ensure precision and quality. **Responsibilities** + Prepare wires and other components for hypertronics systems. + Perform soldering of wires and components, primarily using gauge 4 wire. + Strip and crimp wires as part of the assembly process. + Conduct small part assembly with attention to detail. + Use a microscope periodically to ensure accuracy and precision in work. **Essential Skills** + Experience in soldering components or wires for at least 6 months. + Understanding of IPC 610 and J Standard for electronic assembly. + Ability to read and interpret visual aids and wiring lists. + Proficiency in electronic assembly, including surface-mount technology and thru-hole soldering. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with crimping and wiring techniques. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. + Knowledge of blueprint reading and electromechanical assembly. **Why Work Here?** We offer comprehensive health insurance, including dental and vision coverage, and a Health Savings Account with company match. Each assembler has their own workbench equipped with necessary tools. We offer flexibility with two shifts: 1st shift from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM and 2nd shift from 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.80/hr.
