Job Title: Electrician Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a service technician to troubleshoot, repair, and conduct maintenance on cranes and associated equipment. The ideal candidate will possess electrical experience with industrial equipment, PLCs, and proficiency in using multi-meters and reading blueprints/schematics. We welcome candidates with entry-level experience.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment, particularly cranes.Perform maintenance tasks on cranes and associated machinery.Travel to customer sites in the VA/DC area, with potential future travel to PA, WV, DE, and VA.Work in the shop if preferred, although with a reduced pay rate.Create parts lists for equipment needing repair.Utilize company-supplied safety equipment such as hard hats, safety glasses, body harnesses, and rubber electrical gloves.Represent the company professionally, including wearing uniforms and maintaining company vehicles and equipment.Assist the District Service Manager and Shop Foreman in safety practices and shop maintenance.Safeguard company tools.

Essential Skills

Experience with electrical systems on industrial equipment.Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.Proficiency in using multi-meters for troubleshooting.Knowledge of PLCs and their applications.Customer service skills.Understanding of safety practices and equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to repair shop electrical tools and cranes.Knowledge of parts and equipment in need of repair.Commitment to safety and professionalism.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
