Electrician Journeyman

In addition to our core facility and project management capabilities, our platform offers direct access to our Best-in-Class services including ESG, Security Consulting, Workplace Strategy, and Workplace Experience. **About the role** As a CBRE Electrician, you will inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment in assigned facilities. This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services function, responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. **What You’ll Do** • Oversee the general operation, repair, and maintenance of electrical and lighting systems, including new equipment installations. • Inspect, troubleshoot, and replace components such as valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, and pipes. • Safely work with electrical systems up to 480 volts, following all applicable safety protocols. • Ensure all equipment is maintained and operating safely and efficiently. • Review historical maintenance records to develop proactive inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance schedules. • Deliver efficient and reliable service to internal and external customers. • Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques to solve routine problems. • Demonstrate broad knowledge of your discipline and familiarity with related disciplines. • Lead by example and model behaviors aligned with CBRE RISE values. • Impact the quality of your work and that of others on the team. • Work primarily within standardized procedures to meet objectives and deadlines. • Communicate complex information clearly in straightforward situations. **What You’ll Need** • Must hold a valid Electrician Journeyman's license as required by local electrical codes. • Must pass a fingerprint-based background check. • Currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 3–4 years of job-related experience. Completion of a formal apprenticeship program preferred. • Valid Driver’s License required. • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying loads of 50 lbs. or more. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). • Ability to analyze and solve slightly complex problems using technical experience and sound judgment. • Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset. • Advanced math skills, including the ability to calculate percentages, discounts, and commissions. **Why CBRE** When you join CBRE, you become part of the global leader in commercial real estate services and investment that helps businesses and people thrive. The minimum salary for this position is $100,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $120,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on Turner & Townsend’s applicable benefit program.
