Electrician III (Direct Hire) - 1st Shift - $31-$34
Our client, a prominent organization in the gaming and hospitality industry, is seeking a Electrician III to join their team. As a Electrician III, you will be part of the Facilities department supporting the maintenance and operation of electrical systems across the site. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Electrician III (Direct Hire) **Location:** Salamanca, NY **Pay Range:** $64,584.00 - $72,654.40 **Shift:** 1st Shift (7am-3pm) Monday-Friday **What's the Job?** + Design, plan, layout, install, and service all phases of commercial electrical systems, including service entrances, distribution, emergency generator systems, and advanced lighting systems. + Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair malfunctioning electrical apparatus, transformers, motors, lighting fixtures, wiring, and electronic components using test equipment such as volt meters and phase rotation meters. + Interpret complex wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints to ensure safe and efficient electrical system operation and maintenance. + Operate emergency generation equipment, connect emergency power sources, and develop load shedding schemes to optimize facility operations during maintenance or emergencies. + Install, troubleshoot, and repair telecommunication, data wiring, fiber optic cables, and complex signage circuits, working safely at heights up to 350 feet. **What's Needed?** + High school diploma or equivalent, with completion of an apprentice program or journeyman training, and a valid Master Electrician’s license or demonstrated equivalent knowledge and experience. + At least 10 years of hands-on electrical experience, including 3 years of training and guiding other electricians or subcontractors. + Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints, and troubleshoot circuits and equipment effectively. + Knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and systems such as UPS, static switches, and medium voltage equipment. + Experience working with medium voltage switchgear, suspended scaffolding, and systems powered from multiple utility feeds and generation sources. **What's in it for me?** + Paid breaks during your 8-hour workday. + Permanent position with benefits. + Free meals provided during shifts. + Scratch-off rewards with prizes up to $100 gift cards. + Dining vouchers worth $25. + Employee celebration events and a $1,000 sign-on bonus.
