Electrician I (Direct Hire) - 1st/2nd Shift - $23-$27
Our client, a prominent organization in the gaming and entertainment industry, is seeking a Electrician I to join their team. As a Electrician I, you will be part of the Facilities department supporting the maintenance and installation of electrical systems across the site. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Electrician I (Direct Hire) **Location:** Salamanca, NY **Pay Range:** $23-$27 **Shift:** 1st (7am-3pm) Tues-Sat or Sun-Thurs, may go to 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) after a year **What's the Job?** + Install and service all phases of commercial electrical systems, including service entrances, distribution, emergency generator systems, and advanced lighting systems. + Maintain and repair machinery, equipment, and electrical systems in accordance with electrical code specifications, blueprints, and manuals. + Diagnose and repair malfunctioning electrical apparatus, transformers, motors, and electronic components using test equipment. + Install power supply and control wiring for new machines, motors, conveyors, HVAC equipment, and automated control systems following blueprints and standards. + Perform preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance on building wiring, communication wiring, and data wiring as needed. **What's Needed?** + Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment. + High school diploma or its equivalency required. + Recent graduates with an Associate's degree in an electrical field + Five (5) years of hands-on electrical experience, including three (3) years in a commercial, industrial, or institutional environment. + Knowledge of NFPA 70 and NFPA 70E standards is essential. + Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams; strong problem-solving skills; and good manual dexterity. **What's in it for me?** + Paid breaks during an 8-hour workday. + Free meals provided during shifts. + Scratch-off rewards with up to $100 gift cards. + $25 dining vouchers. + Employee celebration events and a $1,000 sign-on bonus.
