Electrician (helper, foreman, journeyman) - Austin, TX, Pay-$26-35/hr.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrician DP to join our team. This role involves daily tasks such as bending pipe, pulling wires, installing fixtures, and reading blueprints. The ideal candidate will have experience in these areas and be comfortable working in a variety of environments.

Responsibilities

Bending pipe and pulling approximately 200 feet of 3/4 conduit a day.Installing light fixtures and performing terminations.Reading and interpreting blueprints for proper installation.Working with standard electrical tools and a cordless drill.Ensuring compliance with safety standards by avoiding live wires.

Essential Skills

Active TDLR license.At least 2 years of commercial electrical experience.Proficiency in blueprint reading and technical drawing.Experience with electrical wiring, conduit bending, and installation tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Familiarity with commercial electrical systems and installations.Ability to perform repairs and maintenance on electrical systems.Experience with hand tools and pulling cables.

Work Environment

Work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7 AM to 3:30/4 PM, with potential overtime and weekend work as needed. The role requires working on new construction projects at schools in Georgetown, TX, and Round Rock, as well as retail and commercial projects in South and Central Austin. Safety is paramount, and all site personnel must wear steel-toed boots, vests, hard hats, and safety glasses at all times
