**Job Title: Electrician**
**Job Description**
The Electrician will ensure compliance with all safety and employment policies and procedures, positively reflecting the company. You will work from construction drawings to install branch power, lighting, and distribution systems, troubleshoot electrical problems using appropriate test equipment, conduct on-the-job training for apprentices, and safeguard company equipment and materials. Collaboration with subcontractors and adherence to safety protocols in hazardous environments is essential.
**Responsibilities**
+ Ensure compliance with all safety and employment policies and procedures.
+ Assist other technicians during their scheduled on-call rotation.
+ Install branch power, lighting, and distribution systems using construction drawings.
+ Troubleshoot electrical problems utilizing appropriate test equipment.
+ Conduct on-the-job training for apprentices.
+ Safeguard and maintain company equipment, materials, tools, and vehicles.
+ Collaborate with subcontractors and outside services to ensure company policies and procedures are followed.
+ Ensure understanding of hazardous environments and follow all protocols and safety data sheets (SDS).
+ Install PLC, motor controls, cables, and cable trays within classified areas.
+ Operate multi-meters, voltage meters, rotation meters, and meggers on various projects.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in electrical conduit and wiring installation.
+ Strong troubleshooting skills.
+ Experience in construction and industrial environments.
+ Ability to bend conduit and pull wires.
+ Ability to work with blueprints, schematics, and electrical wiring.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Minimum of six years’ experience in electrical or building automations trade.
+ Completion of a state-approved apprenticeship program.
+ Ability to obtain a Maryland and Delaware Electrical Journeyperson License.
+ Minimum of two years’ experience in an industrial environment.
+ Good working knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC).
+ Ability to read, understand, and apply construction drawings, specifications, and electrical schematics.
+ Good mechanical aptitude.
+ Proficient in computer literacy, including word processing, spreadsheets, emails, and data entry.
+ Knowledge of electrical trade and applicable building and electrical codes.
+ Confident, decisive, and self-motivated.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
+ Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
+ Ability and willingness to drive company vehicles and travel regionally to job sites as needed.

**Work Environment**
The role involves working 40 hours per week, scheduled in 8 to 10-hour shifts. Physical activities include standing and climbing 4 to 6 hours per day, kneeling, lifting, reaching above shoulders, and bending 4 to 5 hours per day, and more. You will be lifting weights of 0 to 75 lbs. with varying frequencies and working in temperature extremes of 0° F to 100° F, both indoors and outdoors. Environmental factors include exposure to dust, gases, fumes, and odors within Permissible Exposure Limits (PEL), and special hazards involve mechanical, electrical, chemical, and potentially explosive risks. Personal protective equipment such as hard hats, safety glasses, and protective boots are required, with additional gear provided as needed.

This is a Permanent position based out of Kennett Square, PA.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $114400.00/yr.
