**Job Title: Electrician** **Job Description** This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of the plant’s industrial electrical equipment. The position reports directly to the Maintenance Manager. **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot PLC, VFDs, AC-DC Drives, and relay logic control systems. + Perform control panel troubleshooting and wiring. + Instruct co-workers on PLC/VFD/AC-DC Drive logic. + Use a volt meter; check and replace fuses, motor starters, relays, pumps, motors, and AC-DC systems; and troubleshoot faulty electric circuits. + Assist the general maintenance crew with equipment rebuilds, plant shutdowns, and new equipment installations. + Perform preventive maintenance as prescribed and recommend alterations based on data collected. + Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment. + Assist all departments with breakdowns. + Follow all safety requirements. + Perform daily maintenance sheets on all plant equipment. + Scope may vary based on the size and complexity of the plant and equipment. + Support CAPEX projects and activities as needed. **Essential Skills** + Electrical troubleshooting and maintenance. + Proficiency with conduit and schematic reading. + Experience with 480v three-phase motors and bending conduit. + PLC troubleshooting. + VFD, AC/DC, AC Drives, and DC Drives knowledge. + Volt meter usage. + Ladder logic understanding. + Project-based maintenance and wiring. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 2-year technical degree/electrical certification or equivalent work experience. + 3-5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance in an industrial manufacturing environment. + Ability to move from one area to another by stepping over and/or bending under objects. + Mobility sufficient for frequent entrance and exits from lift trucks. + Must be able to wear dust masks, earplugs, and face shields as necessary. + Ability to climb ladders and sense temperature changes in products. + Stand and walk long distances on the plant floor for 8 to 12 hours per shift. + Occasional climbing, reaching, squatting, and bending to operate and fix equipment. + Work in an environment with hot and cold temperatures and occasional loud noises. + Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs multiple times per shift. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that values safety, precision, and continuous improvement.
