**Job Title: Electrician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team, specializing in new construction multi-family builds. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in new multi-family residential buildings. This role requires a thorough understanding of electrical systems, blueprints, and local building codes to ensure safe and efficient installations.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform rough-in electrical work on new residential homes from the ground up.
+ Read and interpret blueprints to execute rough-in and finish work, including installing fixtures and receptacles.
+ Conduct tests and inspections of electrical systems and equipment.
+ Troubleshoot electrical issues in a variety of work areas.
+ Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in new multi-family residential buildings.
**Essential Skills**
+ Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an electrician, with a focus on new construction and multi-family residential projects.
+ Proficient in reading blueprints and technical diagrams.
+ Strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
+ Valid electrician's license and any other required certifications.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program preferred.
+ Experience with high voltage and low voltage systems.
+ Familiarity with various types of electrical materials and tools, including conduits, circuit breakers, and testing devices.
+ Ability to lift heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and perform tasks that require physical exertion.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Work Environment**
Work is performed at job sites in and around the Greater Philadelphia Area, with potential travel up to an hour from the shop in Broomall, PA. Candidates will typically work on a team of up to 4 people with one Crew Leader. The role involves both commercial and residential projects, requiring the use of hand tools and mechanical aptitude.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Broomall, Pennsylvania.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $17.25 - $35.00/hr.
