**Job Title: Generator Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Generator Technician to work primarily at one of our largest state-run client sites, ensuring the proper setup and functionality of generators. This role focuses on maintaining and monitoring generators to guarantee continuous operation and power supply. **Responsibilities** + Set up and connect generators to the power grid accurately. + Ensure generators are running smoothly and efficiently. + Monitor generator performance on-site to prevent any power outages. + Troubleshoot and repair generators promptly to maintain uninterrupted power. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in electrical systems and wiring. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. + Strong troubleshooting skills for generator issues. + Experience in preventative maintenance of generators. + E2 License or Journeyman certification in Connecticut. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in electrical wiring and installation. + Knowledge of repair techniques for electrical systems. **Why Work Here?** Joining our team offers a chance for long-term growth within a well-established state-run program. Upon permanent employment, you will be provided with a company vehicle. This position focuses on service work rather than new installations, ensuring a routine and stable work environment. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hartford, Connecticut. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $42.00/hr.
