**Job Title: Electrician** **Job Description** The Electrician will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in custom trailers, displays, and vehicles. This proficient-level position is perfect for someone looking to further their career in electrical work within the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in the electrical field with experience in 120/240 single phase, 208 3 phase, and 440 3 phases. **Responsibilities** + Assist in the installation of electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in custom trailers, displays, and vehicles. + Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams. + Perform proficient-level electrical troubleshooting and repairs under the minimal supervision of experienced technicians. + Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards. + Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored. + Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. + Collaborate with other team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards. + Participate in training programs to enhance electrical skills and knowledge. + Document work performed and parts used for accurate record-keeping. + Provide guidance and support to Electrical team members. + Stay updated with the latest electrical codes, standards, and industry best practices. **Essential Skills** + Mechanical aptitude. + Ability to read tape measure and protractor. + Proficiency in using air and electric hand tools. + Capability to perform conduit bending, knots, and basic rigging. + Skill in wiring branch and feeder circuits. + Experience in installing lighting and receptacle outlets. + Ability to solve complex issues and learn quickly. + Safety-conscious with good housekeeping skills. + Strong attention to detail and precision. + Effective communication and presentation skills. + Positive attitude towards team members and other departments. + Displays initiative to learn and take on more responsibilities. + Ability to learn to operate a forklift. + Capability to work successfully within a team and as an individual contributor. + Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. + Consistent and stable work history with strong verbal and written communication skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School diploma or equivalent. + Associate's degree in Electrical or similar field, 2 years Vocational High School Electrical program and/or completion of an Electrical Certification program. + Minimum of 4 years' experience in the electrical field and/or equivalent education or 4000-8000 hours on-the-job training and/or 3-year successful completion in an Electrical Apprentice Program education requirements. + Intermediate understanding of electrical principles, concepts, and NEC code book. + Basic knowledge of wiring methods and proper wire sizing. + Basic ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics. + Basic understanding of concepts of circuit protection. + Basic understanding of multimeters. + Knowledgeable of the fundamentals of AC circuit theory. + Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic tools. + Enrollment in an Electrical Apprenticeship Program. + Experience in a manufacturing setting. **Why Work Here?** This company is growing and offers a wonderful environment for its employees, focusing on development and collaboration.
