**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will install, troubleshoot, repair, design, construct, test, calibrate, adjust, modify replacement parts and service a wide variety of electrical and electronic equipment. This includes communication systems, radios, radio-controlled cranes, gauges, measuring devices, ultrasonic and fluidic equipment, PLCs, microprocessors, numerical and programmable controllers, and both low and high voltage power distribution systems. Additionally, the role involves maintaining hydraulic presses, thermal processing equipment, and robotic systems.
**Responsibilities**
+ Diagnose and correct problems while proactively seeking to eliminate waste and failures.
+ Interface with design and engineering teams to ensure efficient installations and repairs.
+ Perform and document preventative maintenance checks, inspections, and repairs.
+ Utilize PLCs, microprocessor-based equipment, and computer software for equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and modification.
+ Maintain hydraulic presses and thermal processing equipment, ensuring high levels of automation and efficiency.
+ Service and maintain ABB Robots and Allen Bradley PLCs, with a preference for candidates with combustion experience.
**Essential Skills**
+ Electrical Journeyman Card or 4+ years of Industrial Electrician experience.
+ Experience with 480V 3-phase electrical systems.
+ Proficiency in troubleshooting PLC systems.
+ Experience running and installing electrical conduit.
+ Strong ability to troubleshoot using a multimeter and other electrical testing tools.
+ High School Diploma or GED.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with motor controls, photo eyes, automated equipment, and schematics.
+ Familiarity with robotics and automation systems.
+ Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs and ladder logic.

**Work Environment**
This is a union work environment, with a 90-day probationary period. Work is spread across seven buildings on a 120+ acre site, requiring flexibility in building assignments. The team consists of 55 employees across all shifts, with openings in both the Wheels and Structures Divisions. The role requires openness to all shifts, with likely starting on 2nd or 3rd shift. Training may occur on the 1st shift. Enjoy a Monday to Friday schedule with optional overtime on weekends. Uniforms are provided, and you will receive 1 week of PTO after 6 months of employment. Compensation includes a base pay with cost of living adjustments and shift premiums.

This is a Permanent position based out of Cleveland, Ohio.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $96324.80 - $96324.80/yr.
- They do get daily overtime (anything worked over 8hrs is time and a half), time and a half on Saturdays, double time on Sundays)

- Howmet will get electricians through program to get them journeyman certified - this process takes 3 years (great opportunity to receive journeyman cert)
- Company typically puts anywhere from $10-20 million/ year into the facility for upgrades and new equipment, starting to upgrade to automation
