Job Description
We are seeking an Industrial Electrician - Wireman to join our team in Canton, OH. This role offers a competitive hourly rate and involves working on a 1st shift from 5:30 am to 3:30 pm or a 2nd shift from 3:30 pm to 1:30 am. The schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, with potential overtime on Fridays as needed.
ResponsibilitiesWork as an Industrial Electrical Assembler.Perform electrical assembly and wiring/building of control panels and switchboards for switchgear equipment.Utilize schematics to wire panels and units.Bend and install conduit (Rigid & EMT).Complete wiring and building of units, which may take over a month.Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.Possess and utilize own tools for the job.Essential SkillsExperience in commercial or industrial electrical work, similar to Electrical Apprentices.Proficiency in conduit work, including Rigid and EMT.Ability to read and understand schematics.Knowledge of electrical tools.Experience in point-to-point wiring, electrical wiring, and assembly.Additional Skills & QualificationsPanel building experience.Understanding of electrical theory.Ability to read electrical schematics.Troubleshooting skills for wiring and component application problems in switchgear equipment.Switchgear experience is a plus.Journeyman Card is a plus.Industrial electrician background is a plus.Commercial or residential electrical experience is considered.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is well-lit and climate-controlled, fostering a laid-back atmosphere without micromanagement. Employees are expected to work at a good pace to complete units on time. Starting in 2024, operations will move to a new facility nearby, built in 2008, offering a more organized and up-to-date workspace. Located in the historic Hoover Building in North Canton, the company spans 200,000 sq ft, building substations, switchgear, circuit breakers, bus duct, and various electrical systems. Work is primarily quiet and clean, with employees working independently on different sections of the builds.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
