Job Title: Electrical Technician This team supports validation of wire harnessing, circuit protection and relays. This team works heavily with suppliers to acquire these parts/systems and then validates themto ensure they meet the criteria of the Product groups they support. Under the direction of the manager and the component team, with support of lab technicians: + Create and execute test plans and where necessary procedures + Plan, schedule, and execute validation activities. Communicate results, and provide recommendations + Support development discussions with clients, buyers, quality engineers, component, and tier 1 suppliers + Support Assurance of Supply project and address issues as they arise + Support High Voltage (0-5000Vdc) and High Current (0-750Amps) Skills + Electrical Lab Testing experience + Ability to run with a test request autonomously + Hands-on aptitude + Troubleshooting, problem solving + Crimping wires, building harness, turning wrenches, etc. + High voltage (preferred) + AS degree Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Peoria, IL.
