Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to support the installation of energy-saving light fixtures and components. The role requires leadership experience in managing a crew of 3-5 individuals. The position is primarily based in the Blacksburg, VA area and involves occasional work with MC Cable and minimal wiring.

Responsibilities

Lead a crew of 3-5 technicians in the installation of energy-saving light fixtures and components.Perform commercial electrical tasks with a focus on lighting systems.Work occasionally with MC Cable and perform minimal wiring tasks.Ensure reliable and strong attendance to maintain project timelines.

Essential Skills

Commercial electrical experience is essential.Leadership experience managing a small crew.Proficiency in electrical assembly, service, and lighting.Licensed or Journeyman status is preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with installing light fixtures.Strong electrical aptitude and technician skills.

Work Environment

Work with a small crew of 3-4 people on job sites primarily located in Blacksburg, VA (VA Tech). The projects are expected to run through mid-January, with the potential for additional projects starting soon after.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
