Electrical Technician
**Job Title: Electrical Technician** **Job Description** As an Electrical Technician, you will wire concrete pump trucks from start to finish. You will work directly off prints and work instructions to determine the necessary tasks for each truck. Starting with a blank truck, you will wire it completely from scratch. After wiring, you will perform quality checks to ensure everything operates properly. **Responsibilities** + Wire concrete pump trucks from start to finish based on prints and work instructions. + Perform quality checks to ensure vehicles are running properly. + Navigate computers to access parts ordering and blueprints. + Follow engineering drawings, bills of materials, and request parts from the Parts Department as required. + Lay out truck details per engineering prints on a job-by-job basis. + Perform final assembly of all units, including hoods, electric, lights, and stickers to customer specifications. + Prepare trucks for sub-frame assembly by disassembling, measuring, repositioning parts, installing parts, and re-assembling units. + Test assembled parts or products to ensure functionality and quality. + Comply with workplace health and safety policies, safe work practices, and procedures. + Maintain tools and workspace in good condition. + Perform reasonably similar or related duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Experience with electrical, schematic, and wiring. + Proficiency in low voltage electrical wiring and installation. + Ability to read and work from blueprints and schematics. + Skills in electronics, soldering, and troubleshooting. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in wiring, low voltage, and electrical work. **Why Work Here?** The company offers a supportive environment with opportunities for cross-training and career advancement. The work involves building new vehicles in a clean yet louder environment, working around large booms. The facility includes multiple buildings with bays for assembly and sub-assemblies, a weld shop, paint shop, and warehouse. Computers are available at each bay for accessing parts and blueprints. The work involves navigating between buildings, which are separated by outdoor yards. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Saint Paul, Minnesota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
