Job Title: Electrical Machine Builder

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Machine Assembler with expertise in electrical and pneumatic systems for our 1st shift, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, in North Canton, OH. This role involves assembling, positioning, and building parts and frames for custom machinery, with an emphasis on electrical wiring and assembly.

Responsibilities

Assemble, position, and layout parts and frames for custom machinery.Perform 60-80% electrical wiring and assembly and 20-40% mechanical assembly.Read and interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics to build parts to specification.Conduct wiring and routing tasks, adding sensors, switches, photo eyes, and relays for custom modifications.Perform mechanical assembly, including pneumatics, hosing, doors, and interlocks.Utilize hand and power tools, as well as other shop tools, to complete jobs.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in electrical wiring and working with relays, sensors, and switches.Experience with pneumatics, particularly running hosing and other air components.Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams.Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently while knowing when to seek assistance.Good troubleshooting skills and mechanical inclination.

Work Environment

This is a 1st shift position from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with minimal overtime. The work environment is great, with a team-oriented atmosphere. The facility is well-lit, climate-controlled, safe, organized, and offers great growth opportunities. The building is air-conditioned and features a clean working area, with most materials being brand new.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
