Summary Job title: Electrical Project Estimator Trainee Job ID: null Department: Royal Power Solutions Group Location: null-null Description Summary: We are actively seeking motivated candidates to join CED/Royal Industrial Solutions’ Electrical Project Estimator Training Program. This approximate 24-month rotational program provides comprehensive training and hands-on experience in multiple facets of the business, preparing you for a successful career as an Electrical Project Estimator. During the program, you will gain exposure to Warehouse Operations, Customer Service, Purchasing, Project Management, Estimating, and more. This structured approach ensures you develop the technical knowledge, analytical skills, and business acumen required to excel in electrical project estimating. Reports to: PC Manager or Project Management Lead Minimum Qualifications: + Must be at least 18 years of age + Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience + Current, valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record + Authorization to work in the United States (without requiring work authorization sponsorship by CED now or in the future) Preferred Qualifications: + Interest in electrical systems, construction, or project management + Basic understanding of technical drawings or specifications Working Conditions: Conditions vary and may include industrial, warehouse, office, and external environments. Some activities may include standing for extended periods and exposure to varying temperatures. Office time may include sitting for extended periods. The position involves occasional travel to job sites and client meetings. Supervisory Responsibilities: No Essential Job Functions: + Participate in a structured rotational training program across multiple departments + Learn to review electrical plans, specifications, and project documentation + Assist in preparing cost estimates and bid proposals under supervision + Develop understanding of quantity take-offs and pricing strategies + Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing information + Collaborate with project managers and estimators during project transitions + Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards + Complete assigned projects and training modules within established timelines CED is an Equal Opportunity Employer - Disability | Veteran Compensation Range: The compensation range for this position is $65000 to $75000 annually.
