Job Description
As an Electrical Foreman, you will be responsible for executing electrical tasks such as bending pipe with a hand bender, troubleshooting panels, pulling wire and BX cable, and reading blueprints and schematics. You will work on commercial buildings throughout Queens and NYC, including office spaces, health and wellness centers, and recreation centers. Your role involves pulling wire, running and hanging pipe, and making necessary bends in accordance with the prints or to adjust to obstructions.
Responsibilities
Work independently or with a helper to complete electrical tasks.Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accuracy in work.Troubleshoot any electrical problems that arise.Bend commercial pipe and conduit as required.Essential Skills
Experience as an Electrician, Lead Electrician, Electrical Foreman, or Journeyman Electrician.Proficiency in bending pipe, handling BX cable, and reading blueprints.Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems, including smoke alarms and panels.Familiarity with EMT and conduit work.Additional Skills & Qualifications
OSHA 30 certificationSST 10 certificationProficiency with PPE, electrical hand tools, and cordless drills.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The workday starts at 7:00am, with an expectation to be ready by 6:45am. You will begin your assignment at the NYU Medical Facility, with a six-month temp-to-hire arrangement, and will be moved onto other projects thereafter.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
