Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Mechanic skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints, conducting electrical layouts, and performing conduit bending. The role involves working with EMT, Galvanized, and Ridged materials in electrical construction, as well as installing switch gear, mounting boxes, and panels. The ideal candidate will be adept at pulling wire, roughing MC & BX cables, and familiar with Lutron lighting packages, risers, lighting, and fire alarm systems.
ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret blueprints for electrical projects.Conduct electrical layouts and perform conduit bending using EMT, Galvanized, and Ridged materials.Install switch gear, mount boxes and panels, and perform terminations for 120-480 Volts.Pull wire and rough MC & BX cables efficiently.Install lighting packages, risers, and manage fire alarm systems.Ensure compliance with NEC codes and standards.Essential SkillsProficiency in electrical wiring, conduit bending, and troubleshooting.Experience in installation and wiring of electrical devices.Knowledge of NEC Code and schematic layouts.Ability to run conduit and perform conduit bending accurately.Additional Skills & QualificationsSST 10 certification.OSHA 30 certification.4-10 years of relevant experience.Strong knowledge of NEC code.Why Work Here

Work Environment
The position is based in Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn, with work hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, including a half-hour lunch break. The environment is safety-oriented, requiring PPE at all times, and utilizes mobile clock-in codes for efficient time management.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
