As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining equipment, performing preventative and repair maintenance on all equipment throughout the building, as well as building maintenance. You will be expected to perform a wide array of general maintenance tasks, troubleshoot and repair electrical issues, and work with various systems including HVAC, electric motors, motor controls, and drives.
ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative and repair maintenance on equipment and building.Troubleshoot electrical problems with equipment technicians over the phone.Read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.Conduct preventive/predictive maintenance tasks.Handle daily passdowns and work orders with CMMS.Prioritize maintenance of production machinery over other tasks.Perform daily and midshift checks and PMs on weighing systems, compressors, compactors, chillers, and HVAC systems.Troubleshoot and repair electrical components, including prox switches, limit switches, relay switches, circuit troubleshooting, and high/low voltage.Perform mechanical repairs on hydraulics, pneumatics, webbing, dyes, etc.
Essential SkillsExperience with electrical maintenance in an industrial or manufacturing environment.Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues and read schematics.Familiarity with HVAC systems, electric motors, motor controls, and drives.Knowledge of PLC Logic, although programming or editing ladder logic is not required.Experience with high-speed packaging and VFDs.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications5+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or production preferred.Experience with 3-phase electrical systems.Basic PLC troubleshooting knowledge.High-speed packaging experience is ideal.

Work Environment
Work Monday through Friday from 7am to 5:30pm, with a transition to Monday through Thursday during the slow season. The facility is clean, temperature-controlled, and well-spaced, though some machinery is loud, requiring hearing protection and protective eyewear. Employees must adhere to a dress code of jeans or work pants, t-shirts or polos, and steel-toed shoes are required on the production floor. Breaks include two 15-minute paid breaks and one unpaid hour lunch, with flexible timing.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr.
