Aerotek is hiring for Electrical Journeyman's
Location: Pineville, NC
Phase 1 of project, will have to be comfortable doing underground work - this will be the majority of the work at first
Will work 6 days a week
10 hour shifts
Weekly Pay
Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to local and national electrical codesRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagramsInspect electrical components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustments or repairsPerform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipmentInstall and maintain control panels, circuit breakers, transformers, and other electrical componentsTest electrical systems using meters, testing devices, and diagnostic toolsCollaborate with contractors, supervisors, and apprentices to complete projects on scheduleEnsure compliance with OSHA and NEC safety standards at all timesTrain and mentor apprentices as neededMaintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progressRequired Skills & QualificationsValid Journeyman Electrician License (state-specific)3–5 years of electrical experience in residential, commercial, or industrial settingsStrong knowledge of NEC codes and electrical safety practicesAbility to read and interpret technical documents and blueprintsProficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipmentStrong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skillsAbility to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying weather conditionsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesOSHA 10Work EnvironmentConstruction sites, industrial facilities, or commercial buildings.Will require overtime, right now we are operating 6 days a week, 60+ hours.Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, standing for long periods, and working with tools and machineryJob Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Pineville, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.97 - $45.97/hr.
