Job Description
The Electrical Installer is responsible for the installation of aircraft components, mechanical systems, wiring, and flight safety controls. This role serves as a subject matter expert, supporting the team by facilitating the understanding and execution of engineering drawings, blueprints, wire schematics, and specifications. A working knowledge of electrical theory, principles, and circuitry is essential.
Responsibilities
Install aircraft components, mechanical systems, wiring, and flight safety controls.Serve as a subject matter expert in engineering drawings, blueprints, wire schematics, and specifications.Apply a working knowledge of electrical theory, principles, and circuitry in modifying, assembling, testing, and installing aircraft electrical systems.Utilize various types and sizes of wires, cables, and connectors in aircraft electrical systems.Operate hand and automatic wire strippers, wire cutters, heat guns, electric and pneumatic power tools, and other specialized tools of the trade.Use common electrical test devices such as megohmmeters, digital and analog multimeters, voltmeters, ammeters, bond meters, meggers, and specially devised test sets to perform basic checks for continuity, resistance, voltage, opens, shorts, insulation breakdown, grounds, or malfunctioning switches and relays.Essential Skills
Production experience in new build aircraft assembly and production assembly.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.Skilled in operating common electrical test devices such as megohmmeters, digital and analog multimeters, voltmeters, ammeters, bond meters, meggers, and specially devised test sets.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Must have a high school diploma or GED.Preferably 4+ years of experience in a related field.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This position operates in a climate-controlled facility with a focus on organization and cleanliness. The work environment is deadline-intensive, and overtime may be required. The dress code includes closed-toed shoes, long pants, and t-shirts. Safety requirements include steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection where necessary.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr.
